Wal-Mart ,the world’s largest retailer, is buying VUDU, a video service which sells and rents movies and tv shows over the internet. VUDU offers top-notch streaming technology; it can stream movies in 1080p on a 4.5-megabit connection. By acquiring VUDU, Wal-Mart has a big chance to become a major player in the online movie market as home broadband speeds increase.
