Unemployment extension March 2010: Senate tackles unemployment benefits bill

Senate is now taking up the issue of the bill on unemployment extension benefits which when voted for, would extend financial help to the jobless sector of the society . Among the other benefits of this bill are loan curriculum extensions for small businesses, tax cuts, and COBRA health-insurance subsidies for workers who have lost their jobs after March 2010. Though, Senator Jim Bunning has been blocking the bill since he points out that it would only add to the $10-billion US financial statement deficit.
